Como ya sabéis la colección If es una colaboración entre la joyera Marta Coderque y la ceramista Mónica Pérez-Serrano. Un proyecto en el que han puesto mucha ilusión para crear piezas que sean todas diferentes, para que quien las lleve se sienta única.

As you already know the If collection is a collaboration between the jeweler Marta Coderque and the ceramist Mónica Pérez-Serrano. They have worked with enthusiasm in this project to create pieces that are all different, so when you wear them, you feel unique.

Una labradorita para un nuevo diseño - A labradorite for a new design

Hoy nos ha visitado una clienta en la tienda de Ayala 77 para la que estamos trabajando en una idea muy original. Tiene un antiguo reloj de oro de su padre, que no usa, pero que al que le encantaría dar una nueva vida, transformarlo en algo que sí use y se pueda poner habitualmente. Así que estamos barajando varios diseños. El que más nos convence en mantener la correa tal cual, para que el recuerdo del reloj siga vivo y convertirlo en una pulsera. Y que la pieza central de esta pulsera sea una piedra llamativa... ¿os parece que esta labradorita da la talla?

Today we have received the visit of a client for whom we are preparing a very original design. She has an old watch that belonged to her father, but she don't use it... She told us, she would love to give it anew life and change it into something new she can use. We are considering several design ideas. The one that we like most is to preserve the gold strap at it is, so the memory of the watch is still there and transform it into a bracelet. And the central piece of this bracelet will be a remarkable gemstone... do you think this labradorite is good enough?

Ansias de primavera - Longing for spring

Se empieza a notar que los días son más largos, que ya no hace tanto frío por las mañanas, que si te paras al sol, se nota calorcito. Y es que la primavera se acerca y ¡no podemos estar más contentas! Porque te vas a quitar los guantes y a lucir esos preciosos anillos; y te vas a quitar la bufanda y a lucir ese escote adornado con una collar espectacular y también se van a acabar los gorros y las orejeras y podrás enseñar a todos esos pendientes que no te quitas.

You can already notice that days are growing longer, that mornings are not so cold anymore and that, if you stop on the sun, you can really feel the warmth. And that's because spring is just around the corner and we couldn't be happier! Estas dos bolsas se van a hacer unos cuántos kilómetros hasta llegar a las manos de sus dueñas. Uno de ellos viaja dentro de España, hasta Salamanca y el otro va a recorrer un camino algo más largo, hasta Bélgica. ¡Esperamos que os encante vuestros nuevos Coderques!

Como ya sabéis, Marta Coderque, la diseñadora de Coderque Jewels, es también gemóloga y deja muy patente su pasión por las piedras naturales en todas las piezas que salen de nuestro taller.

As you already know, Marta Coderque, the designer at Coderque Jewels, is also a gemologist and makes clear her passion for natural gemstones in every jewelry piece that comes out from our workshop.

Y tiene un ojo sensible a las piedras únicas, sabe cómo sacarles el máximo partido, para luzcan su pleno esplendor

And she has a delicate eye for one-of-a-kind stones, knows how to maximaze their potential and show its full splendour.

Y como ejemplo hoy os enseñamos este collar, una reducción a lo básico para que destaque la piedra central, un ágata bandeada con un juego de colores fabuloso. Cada lado del ágata es diferente, dando más aún más juego el collar al poder usarlo por los ambas caras. Para resaltar estos colores aún más, va montado con una combinación de piedras naturales negras; turmalina negra, lava, pirita y ágata negra.

And as an example, today we show you this necklace, a reduction to basics so, the central stone stands out; a banded agate with an fabulous color scheme. Each side of the agate is different, giving place to several looks using both sides. To highlight these colors even more, the necklace is mounted with a combination of natural black stones; black tourmaline, lava, pirite and black agate.
