¡Hola a todos!
Este pasado mes de mayo hemos estado un poco desaparecidas, entre los viajes, la feria en Karlsruhe, un curso de formación que hemos impartido… hemos estado bastante atareadas y con poco tiempo para dedicarle al blog; pero ya estamos de vuelta y poniéndonos otra vez al día.

This last month of May we haven’t been very present because of our traveling, the fair in Karlsruhe, a course we have been teaching… we have been quite busy and with little time to work on the blog; but here we are, back again and catching up.

Los que nos seguís en Facebook ya visteis alguna foto de los viajes, de la feria, de las piezas de las nuevas colecciones… Aquí hacemos una recopilación de esas fotos ya publicadas en las redes sociales y otras cuantas más. ¡Esperamos que os gusten! ¡A nosotras nos traen unos recuerdos geniales! ¡Y estamos ya deseando volver a coger la carretera!
Those of you who follow us on Facebook, have already seen some photos of our trip, of the fair, of some of the pieces of the new collections… Here is now a compilation of those photos that we have already published on our social media and a few more. We hope you like them! To us, they bring back a lot of great memories! And we are looking forward to the next time we hit the road!

A la feria nos hemos ido en coche, ¡toda una aventura! y ya que lo íbamos a hacer así decidimos tomarnos el viaje con calma y aprovechar para hacer un poco de turismo por el camino. La salida de España, decidimos hacerla por Irún. Así que aprovechamos para hacer una breve parada turística en la ciudad de Vitoria.
We decided to go to the fair by car, quite and adventure! And as we decided to travel that way, we decided to take it easy and take the opportunity to do a little tourism on the way. We left Spain by Irún, in the Basque Country. So we took the chance and stopped in Vitoria for a little tourism.
Y ya que estábamos allí, por el País Vasco, pues no pudimos resistirnos a tomarnos unos pintxos, ¡y este de txangurro estaba impresionante!
And as we were there, and it was lunch time, we could help but eat a few pintxos, and this txangurro was espectacular!

La primera noche del viaje llegamos a la ciudad de Burdeos y aunque llegamos bastante tarde, nos dio tiempo a dar una vuelta por el centro, tomarnos una tabla de quesos acompañada de una copa de vino de Burdeos. La ciudad nos encantó y esperamos poder repetir la visita con algo más de tiempo para disfrutarlo en condiciones.
The first night of our journey we stopped in Bordeaux. We arrived a bit late and didn’t have time for much, but enough to go for a stroll in the city centre and enjoy a cheese platter with a glass of Bordeaux. We were quite impressed with the city and we hope to go back with a bit more time to enjoy all it has to offer.

El segundo día transcurrió todo por tierras francesas. Al salir de Burdeos paramos en Saint-Émilion, un pueblecito entre châteaux, rodeados de viñedos.
We spend our second travelling day in France. After leaving Bordeaux, we stopped at Saint-Émilion, a beautiful village set between châteaux and surrounded by vineyards.

E hicimos noche en Vichy, ciudad con historia. Nos acordamos de muchas cosas relacionadas con la ciudad, el régimen de Vichy, las aguas de Vichy, los balnearios, ciertos productos de cosmética, los cuadritos vichy…
We spent the night in Vichy, a city a lot of history. We couldn’t help but remember many things related to this city; the Vichy system, Vichy’s waters, the spas, certain beauty products…

El tercer día de viaje nos adentramos en la región de Borgoña, y paramos en Beaune a comer y visitar.
On our third day we arrived to the region of Burgundy, and we stopped at Beaune to have lunch and do a little tourism.

Y después de un crêpe y el Borgoña, un paseíto por el centro histórico de Beaune, otro sitio precioso.
After a crêpe and a glass of Burgundy, we walked by the city centre of Beaune, another lovely place to visit.

Y lo malo que tiene pasear por sitios bonitos es que te encuentras con escaparates como este, y claro, ¡¡¡Ni podemos ni queremos resistirnos!!! (tampoco es que lo intentemos mucho…)
A terrible thing about all these lovely places is that you find such window displays… We can’t, and we don’t want to resist!!! (and we don’t even try that hard…)

Hay tejados que son auténticas joyas, y en cielos tan bonitos como este, destacan aún más.
And you find around some roofs that are also beautiful jewels, and with such skies they look even better.

Nosotras salimos de Madrid bastante abrigaditas, pero ya a estas alturas del viaje, el tiempo fue mejorando y teníamos días preciosos para acompañar estas visitas turísticas.
We left Madrid, it was still quite cold, but at this point, the days were turning better and better and we could enjoy awesome days for our touristic visits.

El jueves 7 por la mañana llegamos a Karlsruhe y empezamos directamente con el montaje del stand, ya que a partir de las 18:00 celebraban una velada de pre-estreno y tenía que estar todo listo. ¡Había tanto que hacer!
We arrived to Karlsruhe on the 7th early in the morning, and we went straight to the fair to begin setting up the stand. At 18:00 the fair would open for a vernissage and we had to have everything ready. We had a lot to do!
A Eunique llevamos una selección de piezas únicas que complementan las colecciones, como este broche floral realizado en plata patinada.We had on display not only Coderque Jewels’ collections but a selection of one-of-a-kind pieces, like this brooch handcrafted in silver with patina.
Tras el éxito durante los últimos meses de la colección Zafiro, hemos decidido ampliarla y a los anillos y cadenas que había hasta ahora, se suman estos pendientes de plata, disponibles también en varias combinaciones de diferentes colores de baño y con los zafiros también en diferentes colores.
As our collection Sapphires has been a real hit, and there are new articles that adds up to the rings and necklaces; these beautiful silver stud earrings, with different combinations of metal and sapphire colors.

También aprovechamos esta feria de Eunique para presentar algunas colecciones nuevas, que estamos deseando que conozcáis poco a poco y en detalle, pero podéis ir haciéndoos una idea con alguna de estas fotos. Las fotos que vienen a continuación son de la colección Twine y como veis hay anillos, pendientes y cadenas con colgante. Están realizadas en plata, unas con baño de rodio y topacio azul y las otras con baño de oro rosa y cuarzo rosa. Ideales, ¿no creéis?
We also took the chance that the fair Eunique provided to introduce the new collections that we have been preparing during these last months. We will be introducing them in our blog and social media, bit by bit and in detail; but now, you can have an idea with these photos. The following pictures are from the collection Twine; necklaces, rings and earrings. They are handcrafted in silver, one color with a rhodium plating and a blue topaz and the other with a rosé gold plating and a pink quartz. Aren’t they wonderful?
El domingo 10 fue el día de la madre en Alemania y las pastelerías estaban repletas de pasteles monísimos y con un pintón que era complicado resistirse… ¡se nos iban los ojos y las manos!
On Sunday the 10th was Mother’s day and all the bakeries had all these awesome cakes, they looked so great we could restrain our hands!
Nos encaprichamos de este cartel de madera de otro expositor de la feria, La suerte nos quiere. Lo tuvimos de decoración en el stand y ahora nos hace compañía en la oficina.
We totally crushed on this wood sign from another exhibitor at the fair; Luck loves us. We had it as decoration at our stand and now we have with us at the office.
Todas nuestras colecciones tuvieron muy buena acogida entre el público alemán.
All our collections had a great acceptance among the fair’s visitors.
¡Estamos encantadas con todos nuestros clientes! ¡Y ellos también con nosotras! Un grupo de de coreanos que nos visitó en varias ocasiones y se llevaron varias piezas, volvieron una vez más para regalarnos unos pastelitos de su país, ¡todo un detalle!
We really appreciate all our clients! And it seems to be mutual! There was a group of Koreans who visited us several times during the fair and took some pieces back with them to Korea. They came once again afterwards to give us a gift, this little Korean cakes, a very nice touch!
Tras la feria, toca viaje de vuelta y teniéndolo tan cerquita de Karlsruhe y casi de camino, tuvimos que entrar en Estrasburgo, una ciudad preciosa, llena de turistas, pero también llena de encanto en cada rincón. Y sacamos a pasear un anillo con encanto, otra pieza única de la colección Rutilos.
And after the fair, it was time to drive back home. In our way back, we has to stop at Strasbourg, as it was very near and nearly in our way. So we took a bit of time to enjoy this beautiful city, bursting with tourists and with loads of charming spots. And we took for a walk an also charming ring, another one-of-a-kind pieces, from the collection Rutiles.
Y ya en España, aprovechamos para hacer una paradita de un par de días en Barcelona, que ya que estábamos por la zona… Pues aprovechamos para visitar a una amiga, ver clientes y pasear por la ciudad, ¡que está como siempre preciosa!
Back in Spain, we stopped a couple of days in Barcelona, we were just nearby… We enjoyed our time there, visited a friend, some clients, and simply walk around the city, it looks lovely, as always!
