A principios de mes os enseñábamos un broche que habíamos diseñado para una clienta que llevaba un zafiro estrella y os prometimos que os íbamos a enseñar más piezas con estas piedras. Y hoy os enseñamos estos anillos basados en nuestra colección Bosque, pero en los que montamos también unos zafiros estrella de varios colores.
At the beginning of the month we showed you a brooch with a star sapphire that we had designed for a client and we promised that we would show you some other pieces with this gemstones. Today we show you this rings, that are based on our Bosque collection, but with star sapphires in three different colors.
Estas piedras se llaman así porque en función de cómo les de la luz, puede verse una estrella en la superficie. Esta estrella es un efecto óptico que se da en algunas piedras llamado asterismo. Si las piedras están talladas en forma de cabujón y tienen inclusiones orientadas de una forma determinada pueden reflejar la luz de forma que se vea la estrella. ¿A que son una chulada?
This gemstones are called so, because they can show a star on their surface depending on how they reflect the light. This star is an optic effect called asterism that can be displayed in certain gemstones. If they are carved in cabochon and have inclusions positioned in a certain way, they can reflect the light showing this star. Aren’t they awesome?
